What's Next at Dal Zotto?...
It’s always the right time to visit our King Valley cellar door and Rinaldo’s restaurant, however throughout the year there are times when we go just that little bit further....
Vino, Past a e Basta - June Long Weekend (Queens B’day)
Release of 2008 Sangiovese
Vino in Villa - 3rd Weekend in November
Here's our report from last November's event...
Vino in Villa - La Dolce Vita Festival
November 15 - 16, 2008
What a weekend. New release wines, Adam’s wonderful dishes, the launch of our new Wine Club, La Famiglia and the first Dal Zotto Bocce Invitational!
People came from miles to celebrate the sweet life. As everyone relaxed, Australia’s best Bocce players competed for the first Dal Zotto Tri Bocce Invitational Trophy (won by Santo Pascuzzi).
As expected the L’Immigrante Prosecco 2008 was the must have wine for the day, followed very closely by the Pinot Grigio and Arneis 2008.
The Italian Variety Master Class on Sunday hosted by Jeremy Oliver (thank you Jeremy) was a huge success, with our wines matching up very well to their international counterparts. Keep up the good work in the winery Michael. As mentioned, this year Bocce Australia came down to teach people about Bocce. Bringing three of Australia’s best young players - these guys were amazing! The crowd pleaser by far was the Progressive Throw Event. Who said Bocce is slow & relaxing, this was anything but!
A big thanks to BFA for all of their support. Especially the three guys Santo Pascuzzi (Overall Winner), Anthony De Leonardis & Josh Norton who played non-stop all weekend. What an effort!
Finally from all of us at Dal Zotto a big thank you to all of you who came to Vino in Villa this year and helped make it our best event ever! Grazie!
