Dal Zotto Wines Announces Evolution of Cellar Door Experience
King Valley, VIC – July 9, 2025
After 13 years of sharing regional Italian cuisine and warm hospitality the Dal Zotto family will bid a fond farewell to their beloved Trattoria this July. This change will make way for an exciting transformation of their Cellar Door which will continue to celebrate the Dal Zotto’s legacy as Australia’s First Family of Prosecco.
While the Trattoria will close its doors on 13 July, the Cellar Door will remain, alongside the onsite accommodation – Dal Zotto Homestead and Studios.
The reimagined space will deliver a vibrant, Prosecco-focused destination that merges storytelling, Italian-inspired pairings celebrating the Dal Zotto family’s enduring passion for hospitality, family and of course, Prosecco!
The closure of the Trattoria does not mean the food offering will disappear entirely. Instead, it will evolve, serving crafted antipasto platters and select food pairings that complement Dal Zotto wines.
For over a decade, the Dal Zotto Trattoria has served as a cherished gathering place, offering homegrown Italian cuisine and showcasing local produce including from Elena’s own garden. It has also played a vital role in the King Valley community, offering employment opportunities to both local youth and adults. The Dal Zotto family are immensely proud of the memories created within its walls; laughter-filled lunches, family celebrations, and quiet moments shared over a glass of Prosecco.
Second-generation custodians Michael and Christian Dal Zotto added, “To our incredible teams, past and present, thank you for bringing the Trattoria to life. And to our guests, who filled our tables with love and support, we say a heartfelt thank you. You have been the heart of this journey, and we are forever grateful for the friendships forged and the stories shared.”
The Dal Zotto family looks forward to unveiling this innovative new chapter and welcoming visitors to a revitalised Cellar Door experience.
