Dan Murphy's Best In Glass Awards 2025

Dan Murphy’s votes Dal Zotto Pucino Prosecco the best Prosecco in Australia

Our Pucino Prosecco has taken out the best Prosecco in the country in Dan Murphy’sinauguralBest in GlassWine Awards 2025, a new judging program dedicated exclusively to wines available nationally and priced $50 and under.

The awards, announced on April 23, are a deliberate change from the traditional wine show model where hundreds of medals are awarded based on detailed scoring systems.Best in Glassfeatures a simpler approach, with a maximum of three winners named for each category following a multi-stage judging process.

The judges were asked to focus less on technical detail and more on helping everyday wine consumers find the right bottle for the right occasion and the Pucino Prosecco came out on top.

Our chief winemaker, Michael Dal Zotto says, “It’salways great to get recognition within the industry but to win this, against all the Proseccos on the market, is something that we’re very proud of.”

Christian Dal Zotto adds, “This shout-out is like a big, bubbly ‘cheers’ to our awesome wine-making crew! It shows Dal Zotto’s got that fun, fancy vibe everyone loves—luxury that won’t break the bank. So, let’s kick back and take Friday off to celebrate!”

Victoria’s wine regions won eight awards, with gongs awarded across the nation highlighting the diversity and richness of Australia’s wine industry.

Dal Zotto’s tasting notes, Pucino Prosecco:

“Our classic, fresh and vibrant Prosecco. Bright citrus and pear on the nose and a crisp, clean palate with apple, pear and lemon. Very approachable and a whole lot of fun, with gentle bubbles and fruit combining seamlessly, and offering the maximum amount of freshness for a drink early, enjoy and not necessarily in moderation style of sparkling wine; a spot on example of Prosecco.”
