About the role

 We are excited to now be in the position to bring on additional members to the team. As we see numbers growing again with the states opening up, our award-winning Cellar Door and Trattoria will once again be a key destination in the region.

Our Cellar Door is open 10am to 5pm 7 days a week, and the Trattoria (restaurant) is open Wednesday to Sunday Lunch, and Friday Dinner. There will also be events and functions throughout the year.

This is a Casual Employment position, with the possibility of a more permanent offering for the right candidates. You will work, flexibly, between both the Trattoria and Cellar Door Sales, alongside existing staff to help maintain and build exceptional levels of customer service at all times, whilst welcoming every customer to Dal Zotto Wines and making them feel like family.

This position will be required to work within a 7-day roster to include weekend work and some public holidays.

To be considered for this position you will have:

  • A positive attitude, willing and eager to continually learn
  • High organisation, planning and listening skills
  • An ability to demonstrate exceptional and welcoming customer service 
  • A practical and positive approach to problem solving.
  • Experience working within a diverse team, striving for excellence
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of wine is helpful, but not essential
  • Current VIC RSA

Any kitchen experience will also be highly regarded and carry weighting.
